WHAT DID I LEARN
ABOUT MYSELF THIS SUMMER?…
- I am stronger than I ever knew. I know I can do anything.
- I may be brave for venturing out in college, but
I’m only human and
very frightened, but I know I can pull through.
- I learned I don’t need
to be the center to be a worthwhile friend. I’m so much more confident
now.
- That being me is just fine. Don’t try to impress
people, just be yourself.
- I need to be more proactive when I get to college in order to make the
best of my experience. I am more confident.
- Being positive does give you
a better outlook on life and makes your future more optimistic.
- I realize
I am more capable of doing things I didn’t think were possible and
have definitely changed for the better.
- I learned that I can be myself around
everyone and they will like me for me.
- I procrastinate and need to get what’s
important right.
- I learned that I need to be more trusting, allow myself to
get close to people.
- If I try hard, I can do anything. I can be a leader!
- I know how to have
a good time with other people.
- I learned to adjust to new things, to different people, and also to old
friends changing.
- When to be a leader, and just as important, when not to be a leader.
- That
I have strong opinions and should voice them. And I can do something if I
have confidence for myself and from others.
- Trying to be who I think I should
be is harder than accepting myself for who I am.
- I should consider other
people’s feelings and the consequences of my own actions.
- What it takes
to be a part of a group and what it’s like to accomplish all academic
goals.
- That I can work very well independently and that with some things you need
a lot of patience.
- That no matter what anyone says, I have potential to be better than what
anyone else says.
- That I can be a leader even though I don’t
think I can.
- I am such a happy and positive person and I need to stay like that throughout
my life.
- To be myself and not care of what people say or think.
- Be responsible because
I could do a great job in school.
- That I’m too quiet and need to be
more outgoing.
- I am capable of juggling more things that I thought possible.
- I learned
how to stay on task when there’s a lot to do and how to deal with things.
- That I can be a leader if I really try and if I’m
not shy. I can be a confident, intelligent person.
- I used to not have the courage or to
think I couldn’t do it, but now I know I can do it.
- To believe in myself,
not to doubt myself.
- I learned that I have to make every situation positive
if I don’t like the situation. I also learned that I am a good leader,
- I have learned to be honest with myself and to be
more open to people’s
advice and opinions.
- I learned that I can open up to people and not keep things to myself all
the time.
- I need to start doing things for myself, not other people.
- The qualities
I have and that people do appreciate me.
- I am more independent that I ever
thought I could be.
- I love who I am, and don’t plan to change who I
am just to satisfy others.
- I am capable of creating great pieces of writing
and poems.
